Default 2011 V60 front brake parts

Hi all,

Decided to do some maintenance on my V60, change the pads and discs.

The calliper carrier bolts are well rounded on one side. After a few very wet hours outside I decided to give up freeing them for now and started looking for replacement parts.

I can’t seem to have any luck locating replacement bolts, would anyone be able to help?

A phone call to your dealer with your registration number and they will be there the next day to collect - if not that afternoon.....

That’s what I’m trying to avoid, I’d much rather fix it myself since I got quoted £250 for the front axle and bought discs and pads for <£100 and bought it privately. Done more digging and the only suitable bolts for sale are in the US or Germany - with 40€ shipping!!

Shipping looks more reasonable.

I think they meant that your dealer will be able to get the bolts rather than you hand it off to them to do the job

Sometimes dealer parts aren't too expensive but at least you know 100% that they are the correct parts

A word of caution. I managed to strip the thread on one of my caliper carriers earlier this year as I hadn't lined it up properly on reassembly. Replacement was more than £100 which I felt was steep for a basic casting. Just a heads up to make sure you take your time to avoid having to buy more parts

I meant (as someone else has pointed out below) just ask them for the bolt. It will be there next day and will probably cost less than the shipping from some sites.
