If it is diesel then you might want to think about changing glow plugs and if petrol then think about changing spark plugs respectively. Not forgetting if it is an auto then AFT fluid and even if not an auto you might want to think about a gearbox fluid change anyway.

Just the air, cabin and oil filters for now. It was serviced by a volvo specialist 12 months ago at 46,000 miles and has only done 8,000 since.

I'll be giving it a major service at the start of the summer

Have you got a price for a heater hose for a volvo 740 turbo, 1989. It's the one that runs from the heater control valve to under the inlet manifold.

The rear sill moulds are £79.05 + VAT (pair)
This would take 2 days to get, the mudflaps will not fit the R-design because of the body kit.
