Hi 88740...

So i'm guessing you have used the TetraBoost up by now? :-)

I have just returned from a 1030 mile trip..from Norwich..to Stroud (Gloucester)..then Stroud to Penzance (Cornwall)...Penzance up to Tiverton (Devon) then Tiverton to Southam (nr Leamington Spa) then home to Norwich.

Just worked it out...with fuel receipts and a Calc..so pretty much 100% accurate over that mileage....in my 96 940 Sports (2.3 HPT Turbo)

And...drum roll...the figure was..almost dead on 27 MPG.

Which is the figure I always thought it did from Guesstimates/rough working out..

Tetraboost isn't cheap...but it's not so bad for my Amazon as I don't always use it every day..or tend to do long haul's in it...although I recently took it on a long run from Norwich to Leed's and back in a day...I shall aim perhaps for one good run per month in it.

Wink

yeah, a big chunk of its price is tax.... no surprise there then.. Castrols valvemaster is a proven and tested by the classic car society on the worst engines for valve recession..and put them under 100's of hours of heavy load test with this stuff...works the best out of all tested...

Theres two.. an octane boosting one, and the standard lead replacing one..

Castrol Valvemaster is the name.
