Default water not reaching washer jets

Water is just about coming out of the drivers nozzle, but does not reach the passenger nozzle or the headlamp washers.

You can hear the pump & yes, there is water in the bottle!

When you've operated the washers, there is a pool of water collecting under the washer bottle.

Does this sound like the pipe from the washer motor is cracked or hanging off?

If so, how do I get to this - can I reach it by taking the arch liner out, or is it a bumper off job?

Assuming it is a wheel arch liner only (hope fully!), how do I remove this - are there special clips?

Thanks guys.

there is sometimes a one way valve along the tube somewhere, suggest disconnect front the nozzles and blow back. Also check nozzles are free, use fine bit of wire to poke through, and blow both ways. Check washer pump is working ok when tube is disconnected.

If you want to clean out the Bottle & the Tubes properly .... wait until the bottle is about half empty & then drop in two Stredent Tablets (the things you clean false teeth with)

this will get rid of all the gunge & crud thats built up in the bottle & the washer lines ..

I do mine every month .. NEVER get any blockages at all ...

tried disconnecting the passenger nozzle - the nozzle did not appear to be blocked up, bew through the tibe and after that the water did start coming out of the passenger washer jet, but it's a bit of a dribble.
Think i will try the steradent tablet trick.

OK - tried the steradent trick - gave the washers and good work out, and now the washer motor does not work at all so I reckon the motor must have died!

Can I replace just the motor or do I need to replace the whole washer bottle assembly & how do you remove it - is it a front bumper off job or can I just remove the wheel arch liner (& how do i do that?).

Any help (i.e. an idiots guide) would be useful.

Cheers,
ade
