Anyone running a K and N oil based filter may find that the oil from the filter eventually coats the sensor. The self cleaning feature of the sensor actually heats the wire element to a high temperature. This causes the oil to essentially bake onto the element.

There's plenty of 20 year old Volvos still on the road, which shows just how good they are. If anyone is looking to keep their pride and joy on the road, then the offers there
