If I press the front beam (nearest your pointing finger) a couple of times quickly I get the same sound as whilst I am driving. (click click click)
It is the two beams hitting each other over the passenger side. (because its loose)
The noise goes away if I open the roof in tilt mode.
No noise of driver's side.
So annoying, but I guess I don't want Volvo to try and fix in case the fix is worst than the issue.
Yea you are correct! I fixed this issue by unscrewing bolts for rear panoramic window (6 total) and realigned the thing to be "straight" as possible. And tightened them again (if it repeats, I will add thread locker and it should be fine). Noises are gone. I had to do it twice, but now its really quiet.

I have issues with plastic clips that hold the roof (interior) up now. Its known volvo issue, but my warranty doesn't cover taking apart whole roof to fix this. I am thinking to do my self to also quiet down the roof (noise insulation, at least butyl to make rain quieter) but its just so much work!!!

I have PDF saying what to fix from official Volvo document.

P.S.: I have really horrible experience with my sunroof (my first car with one). From a lot of noises (when it freezes... pain for my ears) to weird scratches that appeared to expensive repairs (possible), so I'm never getting one again... Plus the noise from rain is much worse as Volvo doesn't have any butyl applied to the roof because there is no "space".

P.P.S.: Butyl mass is something car manufacture uses to quiet down metal. On spots where you apply it, it stops the vibrations of the metal sheets which stops noise going through. For more, google will help!
