ignition keys
Hi
Does anyone know where you can get key blanks for amazon ignition keys? My amazon has a starter button ignition, but still the key is twisting and starting to crack and unfortunately it is the only key I have. I have tried a number of key cutting places, but no where has the correct moulds. If anyone has overcome a similar problem it would be good to hear from you. I live in London, so somewhere there would be best - if not i can just sort it out by post so any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks Andrew |

I had some new ignition keys cut several years ago, & I think that the blanks which they used were Peugeot ones. This was at a small key cutters next to Streatham railway station, but I'm sure that there are other places that will be able to help. If all else fails, new ignition barrels (with keys ) is available from Brookhouse Volvo Parts (I think it's about £35)

Well this reply got lost :-(
So here it is again. My local locksmith http://www.guardwell.com/ had a box of blanks on his shelf to fit the ignition key from my 1800. They are in Blackwater, near Camberley. |
