rain coming off the roof into window
Hi folks, as the title says, i vape (ex smoker) therefore my front window is open slightly 90% of the time, the problem i have is, when its raining and i slow down or or set off and or turn when raining quite hard, it flows like a torrent off the roof and in through the window, is this normal for the V70 mk2, am i going to have to buy those daft looking deflectors? :/

Although I'd hardly call it a torrent my P1 V70 does the same.I think it's something you have to live with or as you say fit wind deflectors.I believe-although others may know different-that in the quest to reduce wind noise and improve drag co-efficient manufacturers[not just Volvo] did away with the roof gutters so there was nothing to stop water flowing straight down the cars sides from the roof and the curve of the metal work above the doors does the rest.

as far as wind/rain deflectors go, I seemed to of dropped on a fairly decent set, as they don't stand proud of the door frame, as you can see in the picture, but they serve a purpose so all depends on you, you either get a rain soaked door trim and arm, or try a set.

I cant seem to shake the feeling that i will soon need to get a flat cap and a Whippet lol , that being said they do look low profile and would serve a purpose, i would prefer the window buttons to last a while yet, do you have a link for those please?
