Default Stalks from late in earlier V70

Hey guys,

Right, my indicator stalk is getting stiffer and stiffer and doesn't like to stay engaged for long. I was able to get hold of a set of later V70 III/V60 I stalks (2nd facelift) in next to new condition for a steal.

After taking them apart, I noticed different part numbers. The most obvious difference being the lack of plugs on wires.

The clock spring is the same, so that isn't a bad thing. So, it looks like Volvo ditched the the wires in favor for integrated plugs in the backs of the stalks.

For this to work, the PCB in the steering column shroud had to be changed... I haven't been able to check the PCBs rear from the older model, but, I doubt there is much of a difference in it (at least from the sig als it sends). The clock spring is the same. So that isn't an issue.

If I replaced the current fitted PCB in my 2010 V70 with one from a later model and used the later model indicators, would that still work?

Cheers

Damien
