940 Radio/Aerial Not Working
Hi there.
I recently bought a 940 Classic (2.3 LPT) and fitted an Alpine Stereo. Today I was fiddling about with the "accessory loom" (as I am looking to install an MBC and boost gauge) in the passenger's footwell when all the electrics went off, including the radio, and the aerial retracted. I turned the ignition off and on again and everything works fine, except the radio and aerial. In hindsight, I shouldn't have been fiddling electrics without disconnecting the battery. If anyone has any idea of what's wrong and how to fix it, it would be much appreciated. Also, I have checked the fuse box and numbers 5 (Radio, Power Antenna) and 25 (Audio) are not blown. Any ideas?? |

Is there a fuse on the back of the radio head unit?
My Blaupunkt has one at the back, alongside the loom connectors. Not sure about Alpines, but its a possibility? The antenna is usually triggered by a feed from the antenna output wire on the head unit, so it would seem to point at a head unit fuse too???

I fund the problem. Blown fuse in #14 which is another fuse for the radio.
Sorted now! MBC and boost gauge also fitted so running sweet now |
