Unfortunately it looks like Partsforvolvoonline don't have the rear B4 shocks ;( Probably the reason the B4 kit isn't on their website either.
I have been looking at Autodoc.co.uk. Cheaper than PartsforVolvoonline and seem to have stock. Has anyone any experience of the company? Autodoc also do a variety of top mounts and bearings, including Febi Bilstein. They are about half the price of Partforvolvoonline (who don't quote the manufacturer either - just German quality or Swedish quality etc). I am assuming Febi Bilstein mounts and bearings would be fine (?), but would appreciate any opinions. Thanks again in advance |

200,000 miles suspension refresh
Hello chaps, My V70 D5 185 is about to turn over 200k miles and the suspension needs a good rehash....it is still on all original parts from new, but the wishbone bushes are now split and the front shocks are starting to mist a little.
I was considering Bilstein B4 shocks rather than the Sachs, but should I replace the springs too? They all look fine with no breaks or corrosion, but the car is sagging at both ends.I want to maintain standard ride height, so no lowering springs....Are Lesjofors springs as good as the originals? I was thinking of either Lemforder wishbones or polybush inserts in the old arms...any opinions? The Lemforder arms are half the price of the polybushes ! Other parts I would replace include link rods and perhaps upper shock front bearings....any advice on those would be helpful. Thanks in advance... |

Anyone running the B12 kit on C30 D4 R, looking at this for when shocks need replacing along with powerflex bushes. Car is on midir 18” wheels and purchased last weekend with 85k on the clock
Bilstein B4 is the other thoughts. Did mull swapping to 17” wheels. Car has been purchased for an 80-90 daily commute
