Default Volvo s80 door lock

Hi is any one have disassembled rear door lock acurator ??? I opened my one becsuse one motor stopped working and when i putt together i have one spring left but im not sure iff its from lock 😂😂😂 maby somebody have pictures from lock ???

Hi,

The whole unit is a sealed unit (certainly for the S80 2006+) so I doubt there will be diagrams available. Volvo replace the whole box when a fault occurs.

Seems a bit extreme if you ask me and not very green or environmentally friendly.

We did the locks on a V70 some time ago . Same problem a motor failed due to grease ingress on commutator. My son found an exploded view on the internet but its a poor quality drawing so we took pics as went . Simple fix once lock is out of door but fiddly . upside is that fixing it saves a few hundred pounds .

They not sealed units 4 screews and comes apart

Sorry for late reply but glad its all sorted . My son deleted the pics from his phone when job was finished . Was it oil /grease in the motors ?

No just motor packed up. Ordered motor for 3 quit replaced works like charm now 👍👍👍
