Default Me7 T5 agressive throttle closing

Difficult to explain, but I sometimes get a strange jolting motion when I let off the throttle in my c70, it can be fine one the way to work, but on the way back today it started doing it again.

Kind of like the throttle snaps shut instantly and stops all power, instead of being a graceful release off the power if that makes sense.

I miss the throttle cable!

I've also been getting the occasional EML appearing as well.

It's manual by the way!

As the ETM starts to get onto its last legs, it can cause all sorts of behaviour, from idle issues, I personally experienced surging whilst on the motorway and an on/off throttle action in traffic and many other will have had other issues.

If it is the ETM, I'd say get it done sooner rather that later. Mine cost circa £400 all in at MRG Volvo in Chippenham.

Someone who has VIDA and the right know how should be able to track it down to the ETM if that is the problem.

The three letters I was hoping not to hear! I'll see if I can track someone down with VIDA.

Thanks,
Ben.
