262c
I ve been looking for 262c for a while now and they seem to be a bit of a rare beast. Anybody here got one or know of one for sale? I cant even get a value on one so dont know what would be a reasonable price. Ive always liked the looks. opinions?

Look in the Press Releases section above, under 262 turns 40. As said, they are rare - there is currently one on ebay for a few thousand - but it is on a small island in the Med......
As for values, it all depends on condition, like most cars really. Total rebuild projects went for a few hundred a year or two ago, but at the other extreme nobody is going to give a fully restored one away when they have spent a few thousand on it, are they? Its just a question of keeping ones eyes and ears open, as the jungle telegraph plus all media systems leave magazine adverts cold. P |

You'll soon find out, especially if the roof to body join is rusting away under the vinyl. Good luck.

well ive done the deal. The car is solid, no pillar or scuttle rust. Unused since around 2004 . The interior does need tidying but everything works. The exterior would benefit from a respray but certainly does not need any welding. new vinyl roof fitted in the 90s and the top end of the engine was done as well. there are loads of spares. The best bit is on the V5 in the column previous owners is the magic word. "None". owner is almost 90 and despite pressure from family to sell the car 20 years ago just couldnt. reg is MLF 617V. The owners local dealer in London have expressed an interest in buying the car as there are few good rhd examples left.
