Fog Light activation
Hi,
Having wanted to get both the rear fog light s working on the S80 I initially investigated the availability of a "continental" cluster. Nope! There are only two for the S80 2006> (P3?). Left. Right. Ok....... So is it software? Initial investigation came up with little bar that no one had seen s/w for the fog lights. Something else then. So I pulled the cluster back off and had a root to see what was what. There is a bulb in position as well as the track to carry current to the bulb. The pin looks like it is pin 4 on the power socket. So I looked at the power cables and plug.  Nothing to pin 4. So has anyone found a disconnected and loose cable for the for and where did they find it. Or, if you have activated this, by what means? Thanks. Des. . .

This is different on the estates. I took my N/S light off and there are no bulbs or wiring for them in the cluster. We do have specific LHD and RHD units. I have not got as far as testing whether the N/S connection gets any power when the fog light is switched on!

I forgot to mention that I have acquired a very nice set of the new style LED rear clusters which I will be fitting, hopefully at the weekend...  Des. . .
