Default Near side door electric woes V70 T5 estate

Hi folks

I have scanned all the various threads where other owners have had similar problems.

My near side from door is completely dead....no elect windows, mirror or central locking. I have checked fuses and modules but still am no further forward. All other doors are working perfectly.

My neighbour has a D5 and I have swapped door cards/modules over...the module works in his car but his doesn't in mine so as my module is original then it should be okay.

Are there any other relevant fuses other than the one in the box on the end of the dashboard?

It is getting desperate as some Neanderthal panned in the window and I need the window to go half way down to replace the glass.

If anybody can point me in the right direction I would be obliged.

Thanks for looking.

Chris

If you have access to Vida you can fire the relays off for the window via the software which will test your UEM. You could also try a UEM reset? That might just fix it.

- Close all of the doors and bonnet.
- Key in position II engine not running.
- Hold both the driver window and passenger window switches in the driver door panel in the closed or up position for 5 to 8 seconds after the windows are closed.
- Release buttons.
- Remove the ignition key.
- Operated the remote twice. lock/unlock lock/unlock.

Fixed it!!! The car has obviously been run with the door connectors uncoupled as they were full of crud. Took them apart and washed them out. Let them dry. Reconnect and Bob's your auntie!!

Now I have temperamental radio/cd player to sort out.

Thanks to all that posted replies.
