Default powerflex top engine steady

Fitted one today, was haveing slight issue with clunking through gearstick on hard acceleration when changin out of 1st.

either way fitted all well and good just wanted others opinions as i've never read this on any threads about powerflex bush..

i know its a solid bush but the amount of noise travel into the car is crazy! you can hear every stroke of all 5 pistons lol and on start up when engine fires the clunk and bangs inside are loud.

it doesnt bother me as i know uprated solid mounts will transfer noise and vibration a hell of a lot more just wanted to see if others had similar experiance after fitting?

discuss lol

I fitted mine yesterday, and yes, there is more engine noise, but not a massive amount. However, if you change the other bushes for Powerflex it gets progressively louder apparently.

I fitted one to mine a few months back and I LOVE the noises coming from the engine. You get to hear much more of that five pot burble.

there is a considerable difference in build between a origional top mount bush and a powerfex bush..the powerflex bush is far more solid and therefore lacks the ability to disperse engine noise..therefore it disperses its engine noise up the securing arm to the firewall, thus making more grunt inside the cabin..
cheers
