Default what size clutch?

Hello, I am looking to replace the clutch in my 940 2.0 B200f, when I enquire about a clutch kit, I am told there are 2 variants, the clutch spinner plates are 2 different sizes but the clutch cover is the same diameter, anyone of you fine people know how to identify which clutch would be required by any means, cant afford to remove and measure as the car is needed daily, thanks Andy

small one is for the 2 litre engine B200 and the larger one is the 2.3 litre , they are interchangeable go for the bigger one it will last longer , not that there is any problem with life on any volvo original clutch !

Maybe the engine type does restrict the options but I think it depends on the gearbox.

M47 = 228mm dog dish type
M90 = 240mm dual mass

I'm sure there are more 900 variants,certainly the 360 uses 215mm friction, with 228mm pressure plate.

B200 will be a 215 friction plate. I always upgrade to the 228mm plate
