Default Aircon pump

Need a new pump and found the VALEO 813140 which seems to fit the D5 but I then cross check and see lots of variations depending on month/year built. Some say this one for D5 AWD only (why?) Others allow for a number of cars depending on build dates. It’s a valeo fitted on the car already. Found another Ford/Volvo pump but thought Valeo would be a better choice n not much diff in cost hence looking to buy this one. Any thoughts on this?

Thankfully the heatwave is over for now while I source a new one 😎

Thumbs up

A minor but important point nonetheless; it's not a pump, it's a compressor. Stick with the exact part or it won't work properly.

Lots of late night searching has confirmed it’s the correct part after all.
