When you go to the Affinity offer click on the accessories offer tab to see the Polestar offer. You can get discount on all the accessories by the way.

Gone through the whole process. Dealer phoned up the company managing the affinity scheme (apparently nothing to do with Volvo uk) and they refused to honour it. Said that it all expired last year. Still on their website, no mention of it being time limited - don't want to know.

Paying full price.

You have to order it at the same time as the car I think via the club.

For those wondering is P* is worth getting, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Completely transforms the car. Faster gear changes, it's always in the right gear, whether you are pushing it or driving leisurely, tons of torque on tap all the time. My biggest complain was hesitation from the gear box out of slow turn or t-junction - that's all gone. Turbo lag is all but gone. Very pleased.

if they had it standard Q7 would stand no chance in the comparison reviews.

I had my car Polestarred a couple of weeks ago and when I read reviews like this it makes me wonder if they actually fitted it at all!

I'm distinctly underwhelmed and am considering asking the dealer to roll it back to the normal mapping and get my money back. I didn't naively expect it to be turned into a rocketship, as the increases in peak power and torque are so small, but I did think there might be some decent 'area under the graph' improvements in the mid-range but I can barely detect it if it's there.

My main motivation for getting it done was to improve the gearbox's response but I'm not very impressed there either, it still seems to hunt continuously at motorway speeds and while it does seem to lock up a bit sooner at low speeds it's not exactly £800 better in this respect. The only real improvement I've noticed is that when you roll back onto the throttle after coasting into an open junction etc the 'box locks up immediately instead of slushing as it would previously.

Anyone else as underwhelmed with it as me??

Has anybody tried the Polestar upgrade on the new Powerpulse engines?
