Default VEA T3 and T5 turbo comparison

Hi all,
I have been looking into the difference between the turbo on the VEA 2.0 T3 and T5 engines. It looks like mechanically they are the same fitment with the only difference being the turbine and housing. This is only from studying the photos!

From research I can see the base model is a BorgWarner B01 in the T3 and a BorgWarner K03 in the T5. I have no compressor map info for the B01 but gather the boost it can deliver fall off heavily after 3000rpm. The K03 does have compression maps shown and looks capable of 19psi up to about 3500rpm then still decent after. The T5 makes its peak HP at a higher rpm without going crazy with the torque.

Has anyone tried fitting a T5 turbo to a T3 or T4 and remapping? My engine is a B4204T37 and looking at the B4204T26 / T11 turbo. I know the crank bearings are smaller on the T3 but the torque isn't crazy as most stage 1 remaps give higher torque albeit it lower rpm.

Many thanks
