Thanks for this Liam also PNuT. I could never find the timing marks before. The car did start and run quite well with the "21" value, but I did try and get the value closer to zero by trial and error either side of the "21" value by moving the flywheel a little either side and eventually settled on a setting which is very close to the -0.5 I needed from the fuel temp graph. The car now runs much better with little smoke, and I have just looked at the timing marks, which I have now found, and they look very much like your photo at this new setting. Interestingly it did start and run with a value of around 40 when I went the wrong way at first. The small negative occasional value was a consistent -5 when I paid more attention, so maybe just shows its way out and which way to go. There is still a fair bit of vibration however - any ideas on this?
