This link on the XC60 forum https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...=239333&page=7 will give you all the info you need.
Hope it helps.

I think you will find this information above is correct i bet the front passenger side will be soaking underneath.
It runs back and sloshes about the rear passenger well, you'll be surprised how much water is in there when you lift the carpets, it's a disgrace Volvo haven't recalled this to re bond the windscreen.

Default Known problem indeed

Confirmed we had the same sloshing with our '59 plate XC60. Puzzled over it for a long time and never quite believed it was the screen as we couldn't see anything even with home water testing, also we never really found the carpets were wet, though perhaps we didn't go deep enough down. But once we found out about the "known problem" with XC60 screen bonding then we got it to a screen specialist.

Default One other thing to check

Whilst we were troubleshooting this problem, one item came to light which you should check for. Apparently, the downpipe from the aircon unit, which drains the condensed water vapour removed from the damp incoming air, can become misplaced. Rather than drain to under the car, it drains inside the car.

You can check for this by starting the car, opening the car windows, running the car aircon on full, minimum temperature, then after a few minutes look underneath at the duct in roughly the centre across the car, and just behind the engine bay (i.e. underneath the aircon unit). If you see a good flow of water, then it's draining. If you don't see any water draining down, you definitely have a problem. I haven't worked out how to tell if you're only getting partial drainage underneath but you have some drainage to the inside of the car.

The nature of the source I got this from suggests it might be another "known" (at least in come circles) problem
