Default 2008 V50 2.0D SE Lux

Hi. New V50 2.0D SE Lux (Barents Blue with the SE Zaurak? alloys) now in transit. When I configured the car on line it shows a rear colour coded spolier. Not mentioned in the brochure and I'm too emabrassed to ask. Does it have the spolier? Anything else I should have added before I take delivery?

Congratulations for your new car.
Let me suggest 2 factory fitted extras: the -middle range- high performance audio (the default audio system is a bit crap) and the laminated side windows (theft protection and additional sound insulation)

No, it won't have the rear spoiler - I have the same car and was disappointed when it arrived with no spoiler on the back.

I think you have to get the Sport - which has a much worse spec to get the spoiler and bodykit stuff.

Agree about the audio, I have the mid range one and it works well. The bi xenon headlights are good which is part of the winter pack.

even if you do get a better sound-system you'll still have to do some work to the doors so they wont rattle.. i had a v50 for a couple of weeks when my car was being repaired... stupid plastic was making more noise than the stereo! (If you like playing music very loud that is )

Well seem to have bought the one from Germany on ebay but I have no German so have no idea what to do next. I am delighted with the V50 ehich now has 400 miles on it. Excellent car and much admired.

I'm very much in a similar position - pondering long and hard about SE Lux or SE R Design. Any chance of posting a picture of you SE LUX?

Cheers
