Maybe im losing faith in volvo owners aye ? Theres me thinking every volvo i find will be owned by a pipe smoking 65 year old who has owned the car since new and wouldn't want to sell it to anyone who wouldnt look after it and would be delighted to hear that i work in a museum... maybe im looking to much into this. Maybe im going mad.... i have found 4 volvos and havent been able to buy any of them... christ sake,
i really want a volvo.

As I've said before, it's great that you want to join the D24 fold and that we'll keep looking out for you. They're like buses (quite literally lol!!) in that there will be another one coming along soon!

I must admit, you appear to have had more than your share of bad luck to put it politely!! Don't let the b*****ds grind you down or put you off!! I hear what you are saying in that when you are dealing with Volvos you have a certain expectation of what sort of person the seller is. I've only been f****d over once and that was a certain Scottish gentleman who used to appear on here but not surprisingly now doesn't as he has done the same to several others.

Like you say they do pop up occasionally.. i check all of the internet at least twice a day every day without fail.
Although now the name Huldra cannot be used since huldra has technically died a death, i need to find another name. It must be female as all machines are girls. You know, temperamental and expensive ! Can Anyone think of anything ?

I ended up flying to northern Ireland from London, then driving back through NI, Ireland and got the ferry to Wales. I did find a good one though with lots of spares.
I'll keep my eye out as I have ebay alerts and i'll post anything I spot in here.

now that sounds like an adventure ! My colleague actually said i should fly to sweeden and drive one back... i do hope he was joking! He has only recently imported a vauxhall cresta pickup. One of 17 in the world !

The aforementioned silver estate is definitely looking interesting! As soon as thr owner replys ill keep you all updated. I have to say, i quite like the early 90's sporty red stripe in the back bumper. Can anyone shine any light on why that might be there ? At first i thought it could be a diesel version of the rare sports edition from 1996 but that surely would be impossible?

ot certainly would. If you have a more direct contact with its owner and you dont want to have it to break it i would be very appreciative if no one else buys it before i do. I really think this is going to be my baby! Many thanks for yhe phototgraphs. Its beautiful !
