Estate rear light replacement
Hello,
Is there a step by step guide on replacing the rear light lenses on the 240 estate? I found one covering the headlights but not the rear. I have some OEM lenses waiting in the garage but have put off doing the job until I can read up on it some more. I haven't got any replacement bulb holders/wiring and wonder if that'll be an issue. I also have no idea what I'm doing. |

Dead easy.
1. Remove spare wheel well cover / lift up floor section and side panel (depending on the side youre doing). 2. Undo the 4 10mm nuts that hold the rear light in to the body. 3. Make a note of which wire goes where on the back of the light. 4. Remove the wires. 5. Slight the old light in the bin. 6. Connect the wires to the new rear light. 7. Fit the new rear liht using the 4 10mm nuts you took off. 8. Refit the boot trims. Its such a dead easy job, shouldn't be more than 5 minutes per side. Youre best of using a small ratchet with a long extension and 10mm socket but a 10mm spanner might work too. |

Yes dead easy. Even slow old me can do one light unit in a day.
Seriously, if I remember right, even the connection removal and refitting is plug and pray. Kushtie. |

Its a 15 minute job at most per side. Less if you don't clean around the light fitting hole on the car.
