I've been quoted 4-6 weeks for a D5 but the dealer tells me that they have a shortage of the 2.0D (must be popular) and there is a wait up to June!!

No idea but what I do know is Volvo offer as an accesory, lowered springs to bring the ride height down (this is available on the 2008 volvo s40).

Alternatively a after market suspension kit could be a possibility.

After photoshopping 19" rims onto the V70 I opted for the HEICO lowering springs. Pictures to be posted tonight, but I think they are spot on - dropping it enough to get the right arch to wheel look.

The ride is firm, but it is far from uncomfortable - infact it is a massive improvement over the Z4.

If you want firm - you should try the Black Art Designs setup on my Alpina.

Is there a supplier of HEICO in the UK or do you have to germany etc ?

Not seen you on the BM Car Forum lately, have they banned you for the new Volvo

I think Volvo Parts do HEICO in the UK - I paid a premium in Swizterland do get it installed by the importer.

The wheels are superb - so elegant.

BMW Car is now blocked at work so I only go on occasionally in the evening
