'98 S40 GDI for spares £100

It is maroon 1998 S40 GDI (manual) located in London, SE2.

It has faulty gearbox (would not engage into reverse, all forward gears are fine). The car is SORNed and has neither MOT nor TAX, so I guess it has to be taken away on a trailer.

I had the car for 5,5 years and would like it to be of use to someone who has time/space to break it rather then selling it for scrap.
Starts at the turn of the key, drives well.

Bodywork:
GOOD:
Dual headlights and new style radiator grill,
Electric sunroof
15' Alloy wheels.
Electric heated mirrors
And generally in good condition for age
BAD:
New bonnet fitted 5 years ago has paint coming off. (I rear ended some poor guy in 2005)
1 door has a dent from someone’s bumper.

Interior:
Heated leather seats - decent condition, no holes.
Front panel somewhat abused.
Hazard switch broken.

Mechanical:
BAD
GDI engine with 68K miles (yep). Was opened and cleaned of sludge at 45K, but still uses oil at about 1L/1500 miles.
Gearbox fault. (no more jap cars/engines in this life, thank you very much)
Auxiliary belt squeals like a pig when starting in cold weather.
GOOD:
Apart from above

overall good condition (everything works).

AC, CC, ABS, ESP, Computer, 2 keys with RC, not that it matters a great deal :/

I need garage for my E39, so must go ASAP.

I stripped the easy bits of the car and scrap guy is coming on 10th of July. If someone needs anything in particular - PM me today or early Sat.

95RN850VOLVO are you only interested in the covers as per your post in the wanted section? If so I'd be interested in the heated seat elements...
