V60 or V70

Going to test drive a V60 D4 tomorrow.

Looking at various deals around, seems there is a better deal to be had on a V70 - I presume because it's due to cease production making way for a successor.

Got me thinking, what are the main differences between current gen V60 and V70 apart from looks?

I prefer the interior of the V70 with the dual air vents below the nav screen and the 'bulge' over the screen. I think it looks good and is well designed, and remember thinking this when I got a brand new XC70 D4 SE LUX Nav Geartronic AWD with 20 miles on the clock as a courtesy car last year. That was nice to drive and was the first time I had experienced adaptive cruise control.

I prefer the integrated exhausts on the V60 though. They look really smart. As do the DRL's on the V60.

I assume V70 will have a bigger boot.

Both models in D4 Auto FWD guise are £30 a year to tax and are roughly as economical.

Residuals appear to be similar?

Does the V60 have any better tech than the V70? Is it any safer?
