spoke to my dealer today - it's expected week 20 (whenever that is, end May?) and is same as I read elsewhere.

We are now in week 17. So three to four week's time.

I hope they leave or swap those icon buttons down the right hand side of the screen for right hand drive countries like ours. Also hope they leave the camera default so that surround can be chosen rather than just rear camera.

Otherwise some worthwhile improvements I think.

I also hope that the two trip recorders can be more conveniently viewed without scrolling down the display. I find that the Honda has a better system here where one trip zeros every time the fuel is topped up but either or both can be manually zero'd at any time at the driver's whim. Having a stalk button in the Volvo dedicated to zeroing one trip and nothing else seems to be a bit of a waste of a switch, while the other zeros after a two hour wait with the ignition off, with no option to zero sooner or retain settings until driver chooses, is rather too basic or restrictive.
These are minor points but worth making if one has seen better systems elsewhere. The Nissan is also better in my humble opinion and very similar to the Honda's.

We may just have to live with the icons on the left side.
I for one, normally drive on my own and if trying to hit these icons is a safety issue, then I will leave them alone.

Bit of a delemia today, everything that I have read over the weekend, states that I should reinstall TuneIn and the Weather apps, but, I am worried about bricking Sensus, prior to my holiday at the end of the month.
Do not know what to do?

Why bother before the trip if you do not need them.

As I said, had Sensus reboot/freeze when one (or even both) of those apps where not installed on more than one car, and also had trouble free (a good 5 weeks now) when they are installed. I do not think the issue is specifically related to just those apps, though they could be part of the overall issue.

If it was me though, and it has worked for the past few weeks, I would leave well alone until after the trip

Whatever happens, hope you have a good holiday.

I was in Stockholm the weekend and viewed and XC60 with the new interface. It looked really nice, clean and more modern. I was told it will be rolled out to the XC90 in August with the launch of the XC60. True or not I don't know, but as I was in Sweden I'd hope they'd be in the know...
