Beige interior and kids, good luck with that!!!
The cruise control can be used as a kind of speed limiter, when enabled the set speed is displayed within the rev counter dial, I quite like this feature... Pretty sure you'll be getting a leather steering too... Hopefully you'll never use the city safety feature, and hopefully your kids will grow slowly as to not fill the added legroom too quickly... I too am on my first Volvo, but been driving 4x4 diesels for a while, think you'll be pleased, they are good cars... Liking mine more with each drive...! Roll on your delivery date...(got to ask, what car you changing from?)

That's quite a change, you can look forward to a lot more than the items you originally listed....! No Electrical faults for one!

Actually, my car has been fairly good to me, but then I've only done 24K miles in the 4.5 years I've owned it. Apart from having to replace front alloys due to London's infamous potholes and one limp mode incident with the auto gearbox, the car has been trouble-free.
I should add, I will not miss the 19.9 MPG and 204g/KM emission.

Did you have the 3.0 petrol one then?
I tried out a 2.2 diesel one a few years ago, according to the satnav I was in the Irish sea on the way to Belfast! According to the computer I had four flat tyres and the credit card key thingy had to coaxed into life each time you wanted to unlock the car.

A speed limiter sets a maximum limit. The driver has throttle control, but the speed of the vehicle will not exceed the pre-determined setting. Am I not reading the owner's manual correctly? |

I use the cruise control whenever there are speed cameras etc. Example in a 30 zone I'll set it at or below 30, with my foot covering brake. This is really useful for the roadwork sections on motorways with average speed cameras etc. Not a true speed limiter as in top speed but if you need reminding that youre doing 100 mph I think there is something wrong somewhere...
