Default Instrument Cluster Interchangeability

Hi Guys.
I have a 2014 V60 D4 Business. With a standard Instrument Cluster not digital. The Rev counter range is next to useless. I want to change it to the R Design digital cluster which I believe gives the option in sport mode to show the revs in the main center part and would be way more detailed.

My Questions are :
1. Would any of the the R Design clusters from V40 and V60 physically fit ?
2. Would I be able to able to switch between the different modes. How is that done ?

I know this may sound trivial but it bugs the hell out of me not knowing what revs I'm at.

Thanks

I’ve seen a video on YouTube where someone changed the cluster in their V70, some Russian guy I think. More trouble than it’s worth I would think though

Do a search on YouTube for VOLVOSWEDEN. He has done it on his T6 v70xc. You do lose some functions, you need Vida to set the correct time.

VDash can do it. I installed a TFT cluster in my 2017MY V40 with analogue cluster using VDash.

There's a lot of information here. It's worth reading it all the way through. Exactly what you need to do depends on the age of your car.

Alternatively you can have it installed by a Volvo dealer. The cost was near £900 when I looked a couple of years ago, but I think Volvocars London were advertising supply and fitting a new cluster for £399 a few months ago.

Thanks for all the info. If I go ahead and try the swap I will document the process and post for others.

Much appreciated.
