Default 2005 v70 t5

Just acquired this 2005 v70 t5.
Hi spec car with sunroof, heated seats, power mirrors, reversing sensors etc. Has done 150k and has 2 keys.
Will come with full mot if asking price of £1100 is achieved.
Unfortunately due to extremely minor rear damage (as pictured) it is technically a write off!
Please feel free to ask any questions etc, nothing to hide and happy to chat

Ready to drive away, no repairs needed if you can live with that minor damage!

Crikey, that can't be termed 'damage' it's just a blemish!

Is that it - the parting of the rear valance on the nearside rear corner?

Pretty much. There is also slight damage to the area around the right hand parking sensor. Zoom in

Crazy. So trade value of the car, say £850 - £1000.

I guess that means a new bumper and valance (plus fitting) costs more than that via 'approved repairers'?

What a racket.

Unfortunately not that I can find. That's its downside.

MOT History doesn't suggest 'Dealer Servicing' more like servicing i.a.w MOT Fail Points! ABS gets two mentions.

Checking the location of the MOT Station(s) via the DVLA Web Site (you need the V5 for the number) would give an idea of where it's been, then a simple call to the local Volvo Dealer/Indy might bring up some service history.

Out of interest, is the car recorded as being a write off? If not could be interested as the daughters going to need a run-about when she gets back from Australia.

Yes. It will be recorded on the logbook as a write off.
