Default Mudflaps

Contemplating getting mudflaps fitted - anyone with an XC60 had them fitted? If you have a Pic you can put up I'd appreciate it, just want to see how well they are moulded and fit - I don't like ones that look like aftermarket cheapies.

Has anyone fitted them themselves - I assume its a case of undoing some bolts in the wheel arch - fitting, and putting said bolts back in place?

Thank you

I have the volvo ones on an xc70. Reasonable cost, at least for volvo. Reasonable fit and very easy to fit on mine.
You undo the trim fixing screws on the wheel arch fit the mud flaps using the slightly longer screws that come in the box.

They are a torx head, I used a torx bit and a rachet spanner on the back and was able to fit them without removing the wheel, the front I turned the wheels to lock one way and the other and was able to use the screwdriver handle rather than the spanner on the torx bit. Took about 10 minuets an end front and back.

If memory serves I paid £45 a pair for them and they were with the dealer overnight.

Paul.

Volvo ones are better, more flexible than after market, both sets appear very similar.
I have seen Volvo Offers, boot liner, rubber interior mats and mud flaps £300. May be worth a look.

I saw this deal too, but managed to get a FREE boot liner and discounted mat set from the dealer at order.

As Green Van man says, £45.00 a pair isn't bad, and if I go back to my Salesman, he said he'd use his staff discount for me too - every little helps.

Appreciate the instructions - I reckon I can manage that.

Funnily enough when I got my car I paid for boot liner and recieved free rubber mats and mud flaps front and rear.

Don't forget the part no: 32288517 mud guards to stop the inside of the rear doors getting filthy.
