S80: General - grill - Page 2

I personally can't see Volvo producing 2 different size grills for the S80 and V/XC70. It would mean a massive increase in cost in production and design.

Looking on the parts system....

V70 large logo grille without radar: 30756996

S80 large logo grille without radar: 30756991

they don't cross ref to each other.

when I spoke to Dealers there said NO, but sometimes there don't like telling you the answer you want too. I didn't buy the grill in case it didn't fit, but I agree why would Volvo spend all the extra cost for the cars which a basically the same.

To differentiate them.

Look at the pictures - you can see they are different.

They are two different parts. As a part number suggests and pictures shows...

So after all that, they look different, and have different part numbers, but chances are they are interchangeable as the mounting points and recess might be the same. Note 'might be'.....
