What engine?
Also you're in the wrong section for your model year.

It should be the same, 19mm spanner to undo bleed screw then 32mm spanner to undo filter bowl. It'll be on tight so use a ring spanner. I have pics in my car thread here somewhere Hope that helps!

There is no place to get a spanner on the filter housing on the p2 cars a strap wrench is the only way.

Wonder why there are 2 type's of fuel filter? My 03 S60 has a steel one, and comes off fairly easy, but those plastic one's ! Good grief, they're terrible to undo.

Our early spin on canisters were apparently susceptible to allowing fuel to flow back from the engine when left a while which could cause excessive cranking so the design was ahem, upgraded.
I've never had a problem myself with the "inferior" design and think it's great.
5 minutes, no tools, simple.

They feel like they're gonna break, or break something else when you're trying to loosen it though ches.
