Default Central Locking Switch

Hi: ~ It would also be worthwhile removing the driver’s door lock switch i.e. the one that is wrapped around the door lock barrel, it can be removed from the inside by pulling the tag over them work the same out of the door (this is attached to the part you refer to) the battery going flat is probably due to the wires being frayed due to flexing- the part can be opened up carefully but watch out for the small spring that fits under the sliding mechanism. Once cleaned up you can sleeve the wires with heat shrink and surround the same with Polyurethane Sealer/adhesive to aid the flexing, the wires will have to be cut to fix the new part i.e. the pull/push switch. Just completed this on my car.
Good Luck
Bob

It took a while to arrive. Very odd. It was sent the day I said. Sorry for the late delay, I assume Christmas delayed things.
