Just ordered my XC90
Hi all,
Just thought I'd share (because I'm very excited - it's going to be my first ever brand new car) the spec of the XC90 I've placed an order for. Currently expecting dealer to contact me to confirm early in the week. - Momentum D5 - Ice White - 22" 6-spoke accessory wheels (bit annoyed you have to keep the standard wheel with this tbh, seems stupid you can't trade them in against the value). - Blonde perforated nappa sports leather - Brushed alu trim - Winter plus pack with heads up display - Illumination pack - Family pack - Xenium pack - 12.3" Display - 230v socket - Power passenger seat - Heated rear seats - Tinted windows - Smartphone prep - Dirt cover - Skidplate kit front/rear - Bumper protection - Side running board - Fender extenders (were compulsory for the 22" alloys) So now begins the long wait, being told May at the mo but I dare say that will slip. Going to seem like an eternity whatever it was tbh. Last edited by Torshen; Jan 8th, 2017 at 21:40. |

Hi,
Why didn't you order the inscription as you've spec'd lots of extra? I'm just curious. Hope the order goes smoothly :-).

Why do you have to wait until May?
I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and should get it mid February Last edited by cumbrianmale; Jan 17th, 2017 at 12:51. Reason: Remove unnecessary quote |

But on the wider point, it is actually cheaper to do the same spec on R-design but you can't choose blonde leather, which is very annoying and I don't understand why they restrict you to black for R-design. Going via DriveTheDeal and I guess that's the price to pay for the discount. |

They also have a D5 coming around same time as mine For the 22 why do you need the extenders? The 20" are the same width 275 yet do not need the extenders. Last edited by Alec Dawe; Jan 17th, 2017 at 10:57. Reason: Posted requested dealer name removed |

No idea why you need the extenders but when you select the wheels on the site it pops up a box saying you have to take an aditional option and giving you some choices. Most of them are the variations of the (£3k+) body styling kit. Last edited by Alec Dawe; Jan 17th, 2017 at 10:59. |
