Actually there's very little (i.e. next to none) useful info on My Volvo until the car goes into build and even then it's somewhat hit and miss.

Cheers, appreciate that but I'm still just like to know it's all in the system officially / properly, just for that peace of mind. I'm sure it is, but just nice to see it on-screen.

The order tracking system on MyVolvo is currently down due to a technical fault, they were unable to tell me when it will be back up. My order disappeared a few weeks ago so I dropped them an e-mail. Check with the dealership as they have a accurate delivery time.

Thanks desie, have been in touch with dealer so have the most up-to-date info from them (still May, mind). Was really just for the peace of mind of seeing it on-screen on the official Volvo site, as mentioned, that's all. But no worries, it's not the end of the world. Thanks.

Once you have access, you can't see the spec of your car until after it's built so you cannot check that the order is correct.
I strongly suggest you ask the dealer for a 'factory order printout' so you can double-check your order. This will list details of the basic car plus any options you have specified. Only by doing this did I discover that my first car had the wrong wheels specified. The dealer can change the factory order up until a few weeks before the build so you might also want to ask what that cut-off date is.

Cheers, I assume that a factory order printout is a different document from the itemised invoice I have from the dealer, then?
I've scrutinised the latter a couple of times over to make sure it's correct, which it is.

Yes, a factory order printout is literally that; it's what the factory is going to build and can differ from the dealer-produced invoice, as mine did. The dealer's invoicing system and the factory IT system do not appear to be directly linked. Afaik, the input to the factory system is done manually by someone at the dealer.
