New V90 Order
Hello all!
It's been a while since I've perused these forums, but I still see some familiar names popping up! I bought my first Volvo (a 14 plate XC60 R Design Lux Nav) back in April '14, and have been extremely happy with it on the whole. After reading about the new VED rates, I wondered if it was time to upgrade (before April 1st), and have been lucky enough to find a few dealers who can accommodate a custom spec, and still have it in time to keep the old rates. I've gone for: V90 R Design in Bursting Blue Winter Plus Pack Xenium Pack Dark Rear Tints Driver Power Memory Seat Smartphone Integration I considered the HUD and the 19" alloys, but I was already stretching the budget pretty hard as it was. Any V90 drivers (or XC90 with similar kit), have any opinions on the spec? Thanks everyone.

Hi I have the V90 Inscription and it has the park assist ,winter plus, seat extensions memory seats for both driver and passenger. I have the blonde on Charcoal interior. I have the factory fit electric tow bar as well. Mine is the D4 model but it goes really well. Unfortunately I and my wife both have bad backs and the height of the car has proved to low which is aggravating the condition . I have now ordered the XC90 with the zenium pack and seat extenders etc. This is the momentum D5 powerpulse model. Shame really but having to trade the V90 in and it is costing me a few bob to do this but mine and my wifes health is more important. You won't be disappointed with your V90.

I also have a V90, but not to your spec, see below.
Went for comfort, with the 17" wheels. Had the car now, for just over 3 months and very pleased with it. tem.

The power seat is standard on the inscription model. Full leather is also an extra - An expensive one at that, as you also have to add power seats for both driver and passenger (works out to be a £1500 upgrade)!

I have really come to rely on my HUD and miss it when driving other cars. I would highly recommend it.

However, it's an extra cost which I don't "need" - Especially when the information is available elsewhere (on the dash for example). If the HUD had unique information I wouldn't get otherwise, I'd certainly opt for it.

re the HUD, I too like it, but I guess the heated windscreen is more useful feature

I seem to recall getting my XC60 at a similar time to you?? When I bought the XC60 (April 14'), I'd envisaged doing a ton of miles with work - However, turns out I've only done 26K in that time. The PCP had 20K per year, so I ended up having a bit of equity in the car (even though I'm under 3 years through a 4 year PCP). The dealer has been excellent, and has offered top book on it (21K). After all that, I'm not going to pay a huge amount more on the new V90, than I am on the current XC60!
