Default V70R Auto in Saffron 1998

Reluctantly I have decided to part with my V70R. My job is requiring me to do more and more miles and as a result there is no way I can keep the car in the condition I want to.

I bought the car in June last year and have done a lot of work in the year I have had it (well it feels like it anyway). I have attached a spreadsheet showing everything I have done – I think it covers everything but if I think of anything else, I will add it.

Key points
New MAF (gen Bosch)
Wheels refurbed
New drilled rotors, pads and shoes (400 miles)
New R mats
New drivers door switch pack
Boot CD changer installed (3 disc changer temperamental/infuriating)
Volvo twin outlet exhaust
Crystal lamp upgrades
XC70 grill with R badge
Dash covered in alcantara, interior trim wrapped in 3M (original is scratched)
Nokia bluetooth handsfree installed (mutes audio when calling)
New fog lamps (front)
Strut brace
New remote fob
4 new tyres

Loads more that I have forgotten about !

The bodywork is good for its age. There are no noticeable dents or scratches and it glows nicely in the sun under a recent cover of HD Wax !

The car is running brilliantly and the only issues I am aware of are:

1. Small knock from somewhere when coming to a stop – only when the car is cold and disappears when it is warm/after a mile or two. It was like it when I got it and has got no worse since I have had it. I have had it checked over but the garage couldn’t identify where it was coming from.
2. I had the prop removed as the center bearing was gone. The car is running in 2WD mode.
3. Rattly boot trim – I have the repair kit from Volvo but never got around to it.

Car has 5 months tax and is MOTd until November.

Any questions, PM me.

Price : £2000.00, good home only please, all potential owners will be vetted

Thanks

Steve

Sorry not Thread Hijacking here but "that Black" is "sticky" Grip floor covering (if you PM Jim Day he'll tell you all about it) hes did his a few months back,

It essentially Sticky Floor covering that used by Companies to cover Areas that people are prone to Slip on (Like outside steps ect) it comes on a roll of about 2to 4 metres..... I used it on both my old V70 & the Old 850 & now on the 960 as well.

it protects the top of the bumper from scratches when loading "Things" into the boot & I MUST SAY Does LOOK THE PART & really looks as if it was there from Factory Spec

Heres a Linky to some on Flea bay >>>>>http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-GRIP-...item92affff06d

VERY VERY GOOD Stuff for protecting yer top rear bumper ..

Oops. Should be me that apologises for the thread hijacking! Sorry about that.

" I MUST SAY Does LOOK THE PART & really looks as if it was there from Factory Spec" - Doesn't it just! Looks really good.

"VERY VERY GOOD Stuff for protecting yer top rear bumper" - Mine has loads of scratches there, so some of this will prevent that happening in the future, plus save me the job of re-painting it.

Thanks fo the info and link. Before I asked the q, I did a quick googly and was afraid the answer would be on these lines http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Rear...ht_2261wt_1114 BIG difference in cost!!
