Default 2002 S40 Spark Plugs 1.9T

Hello,

What would be the best plugs for the 1.9T? I've got 53,000 miles and like to change them. Thanks!

IMO Denso Iridium Power are the best plugs, and I recommend you buy them on-line from here:

http://www.carsparkplugs.com

I did just that, they were the cheapest place I found, they arrived within a day or so and the site has an easy to use system for searching for plugs for your specific model of car.

Cheers,
Pete

Another vote for Iridium plugs although I opted for NGK ones as theres been a few reports of the tips from the denso plugs falling off.

Hi,

I opted for NGK Copper Core when changing the plugs on the V90 and they too came with 3 points on them.
Won't catch me gapping them!!

Debated the issue/advantage if Iridium plugs in another topic. The only real advantage was their long life. This compensated for by the higher price for them.
Still have to hear any real advantage that you'll get from them over standard plugs apart from that..
/Looks cautiously round for chow...
