I've own(ed) many modified cars and as long as the mods are safe, fitted correctly and everything is delcared to your insurance you will have no problems.

Some insurers just go "nope" when you mention mods and those arent the ones for you. You need a proper specialist insurer like Adrian Flux or A Plan Thatcham branch who will know what you're on about, know the mods you are on about and properly look after you.

If you don't declare your mods then that's your fault. If you declare them then there's no reason to have your insurance void or any difficulties with them.

My experience. Plenty of modified cars and I have absolutely no trouble insuring my Volvo 240 with a T5 engine conversion that has tripled the cars original power.

Just use a decent insurer specialising in modified cars, be honest and open and you'll be fine.

Also.....buy my exhaust.
Thanks for the input, i have had modified cars previously and used adrian flux so think that'll be my starting point.

Also I'll be checking out the exhsust thanks.
