Default Factory supplied Jack

Anybody in the London / Bury St Edmunds have one surplus to requirements ?

Pulled mine out of the boot yday. It is a GM model. Used a trolley jack and then put stands in place as I was fairly confident the jack was unsuitable. I was right, it snapped with a good ol mighty crack 3/4 down the thread.

Beggars belief what the kretins in this world do. Could have been some unsuspecting soul changing a front wheel with his hands underneath ..........

Apologies for the rant !

Contact Lakes in Wyboston on the A1.
When I was there last week there were still several cars with one in the boot.

Thanx Dunc, when I get a mo I shall weigh mine and investigate postage cost that is most kind.

So what do you have in the boot if you are fifty miles from home with a puncture ?

Oddly recently purchased an Ali 1.25 tonne trolley jack recently for quick jobs plus the weight differential between it and my 3 tonne jack is worlds apart.

Must say it only just about lifts one side of the V70 but is bloody handy for getting kitchen cabinets in the perfect position when working on ya Todd !

Likely to have paid for itself already

Agreed, I have one in my car, and I'll give you my spare, if you collect [Dunstable]. Frankly, it's something you use when you have no other option. Dangerous things. I reckon we're all doing you a bigger favour NOT giving you the thing!

Too old, too thick skinned and a grumpy, I'm afraid I'm not even sure how the current trend to take offence works. This being the current year, and you can't say that in the current year etc etc.

I understand I am required to place myself in a safe zone, thus should you ever say anything I don't agree with, I'm expected fade away at the very shock of it. This based by my own evidence of me being offended on behalf of others who are not here.

I gather I'm supposed to have "No platformed you" as an 'ist' or an 'ism'.

Consider this done.
