Classics and Supercars at the Castle, Sherborne 17th July - Page 6

Thanks for everyone for attending yesterday in the blisteringly hot heat in Sherborne. Fantastic event I must say, made even better with Ovlovs attending...! Think I'll be rubbing moisturiser into my burnt skin for weeks now.

I will be doing a Volvo stand next year (which will be larger) and I will arrange something with Volvotuning/Volvo Sport/VOC to get a big Volvo stand planned as next year it is a two day event, expanding and will be far larger than this one. I reckon we could rival the Porsche turn-out....

Once again I would like to thank all that turned out, hope you enjoyed it!

This event for 2017 is now scheduled for 15-16th July. They raised £25k+ last year from the weekend alone. Anyone else interested? I had the booking forms come through for the clubs this morning.

Hi I would be interested in attending as I only live just a few miles from castle. I would like to bring my Volvo 480 it has been on display there many years running ,it was on our local classic car club stand last year but they are unable to take part this year.please keep me posted.

Ah yes - was that on display with the Three Counties Club? I have looked over your car at several events, never managed to have a chat. It's a lovely car I must say!

I'll get onto Sherborne about it, they've put up the price for this year however to £120 per 50x50ft stand instead of £60/70 it was for last year.

It was over two days last year if I remember correctly as you could camp over, not sure.

No this is the first year it is open to public for display over two days.
