Volvo 360 GLT
Hello I have recently come into being able to purchase a Volvo 360 GLT which has 20,000 miles on the clock absolute show room condition!
its been stored in a garage with all full documents and most services done by Volvo. problem is I dont know much about these cars or there value!! it was in classic car magazine awhile ago and they valued it at £5000!! which seems unreal hence why he couldnt sell it. I offered a £1000 for it and he said yes he just wants it gone. Now ii am wondering if its worth this as I dont really know how much these classics sell for?? any advice would be much appreciated! thanks guys!! |

I sold my truly immaculate 5 door GLT for £5500 with twice the miles (albeit incredibly pampered). Most key board social media warriors thought I was on acid asking so much.
If it's a 3 door, it's more desirable. Especially if the earlier version. Value will reflect that. With only 20,000 miles, if it is truly immaculate (people have different views what immaculate looks like. Ditto values), then a serious collector might offer £7-9k I'd suggest. Just don't mess with it - keep it original. |

Blimey! I paid £565 for my rot box I have spent 4 years restoring.
My old daily I sold to my mate was an 84 360 GLE saloon and I paid £730 for it, it was more than I wanted to pay but I needed a car, it is completely rotten and now luckily he is doing a full restoration on it. So £1000 for a 20k mile "immaculate" 360 is peanuts and you should be jumping all over it. |

Wow wasnt expecting that!! Looks like i could have a good investment mite keep it for a
Good few years at £1000 cant really go wrong. The write up in the magazine basically says its apart from a tiny Surface rust on the sun roof the underneath, wheel arches, body work and the way it drives is like it was when it came Out the showroom. Think ill be purchasing it ill post some pictures once i have it! Thanks!! |

I'd certainly be interested to see the pictures. A lot of my early driving miles (before and after passing the test) were in a 360 GLT

I second this! My first ever car journey was in a 360 GLT, taken home from hospital after being born.
