But from experience made more than welcome as my friend was with his 1800. The implication in your remark does nothing for inter-forum relations.

Salut!

You take an implication that wasn't there, I was merely stating a fact as the event has clearly failed to attract any RWD owners so therefore one would be in a minority.

Plus I am not the only one to make the minority comment.

Jon.

....and they wonder why the BKV is falling on it's face. With remarks and attitudes of certain members it really comes as no surprise.

If the truth be known, I was planning on attending the National BKV next Sunday but certainly won't be bothering now.

I've been sharing the meets from VolvoTuning across all the Volvo Forums.... resulting in attendance of 80+ cars at RAF Cosford, 208 cars at Gaydon & 84 cars at Throckmorton, these numbers were made up from an excellent variety of vehicles from 71 DXC 'The Saint' P1800 to 2015 model S60s.....always fantastic meets with not even a hint of this awful 'elitism'.

So on that note, I won't be bothering with VOC anymore.

Goodbye & Good Luck

Stephen Evans

I think the point that Steve was making is that all Volvo no matter what they are old / new / rwd / fwd / awd etc etc are welcome to attend any of volvotuning meets/events
i was also going to attend the BKV meet with Steve but i don't think il bother either as my V50 may not be deemed suitable lol
i really don't understand what the problem is with some folk, as i understand it we all have the same common interest VOLVO CARS regardless of model or year.
