Default P1800ES TAilgate removal

I've removed the screws from the tailgate and short of prising very hard, the hinges don't appear to want to separate from the glass. I'm obviously proceeding cautiously. Any tips or advise how to remove?

The rubber seals have probably bonded themselves to the glass over time so as you say, proceede with caution. Penetrants like Plus Gas should help and even WD-40 might do also. Soak well.

Thank you derek UK. WD40 and a stanley blade carefully eased between rubber and glass did the trick.
Then came the problem of the rear handle - eventually spotted the special 'ring nut' with 4 small slots in it. Initially this didn't look like a separate part, but again, soaked in WD40 for a few days - circlip pilers didn't shift it so resorted to a thin punch tool, tapping gently and it began to rotate. Hey presto.
