Volvo 164 B30A Camshaft removal
Can the Camshaft on a B30A Engine be removed whilst the engine block is still in the car ? Or is this an engine out job ?

As far as i can remember it can be removed from the front of the block after the head, cam followers and oil pump drive has been removed. Certainly the case with 140. Be very sure to the the cam bushes in the block are good as i have seen them break up and have bits missing.
