Default Drive Mode
Does anyone have an issue with XC60 MY2020 not entering the correct default drive mode?
I have it set to 'individual drive characteristics' and within that have chosen 'eco' as the setting for both drive mode and display, but when I start the car, it just defaults to the standard 'comfort' settings.

The car will always start in Comfort mode. You then have to manually select Individual mode each time, which will contain your individual preferences / characteristics.

This is correct.
You cannot start in your own mode. |

If a key fob can hold your seat and mirror positions, then this cannot be too difficult for Volvo to fix surely?

It is my understanding that the car has to start in comfort mode in order to meet emission requirements, therefore it will never be any different.

Blueboy510 is correct it is an evironmental default setting that sets the car on start up to the best setting and with stop start enabled, you have to consciously change from this setting, this is not just a Volvo thing. I am sure if they were allowed to they would let you have the car start up in any mode.

I think I have read that S/S can be permanently disabled in MY2020 cars.
Perhaps not in the EU?

Yeah, same with my old Passat. Then again, VW haven't necessarily got the best reputation for sticking to emission standards
I found this frustrating at first with the Volvo, but actually Comfort mode suits my driving, so I very rarely change it to anything else these days.
